Revision:
I made this revision to be a poster for a tattoo shop to better practice my design skills.
I masked him onto a black background which I used the grass texture to get a leathery effect. I found a tattoo parlor logo online which is credited below. I created a text layer with the 'Algerian' font because it matched the best with the logo, and then embossed the font to separate it from the background a little more. I darkened the image back down to match the mood a little bit more and I gave him a little drop shadow.

- Background:
- I wanted to try the displacement effect. I used the mask to highlight some things by erasing part of the tattoo in some spots. This is a snapchat that my friend Ben sent to me to edit tattoos on him.
- Photoshop used:
- horizontal flip
- camera raw filter for exposure
- displacement psd (black and white edited photo)
- select subject, option+mask to create a mask over tattoo template (get rid of white background)
- transform tattoo layer
